Description: ANTIQUE FEED OR GRAIN BAG The bag comes from a farm in north central Pennsylvania that was in the family for over 100 years. The farms last family member moved there in 1953 and used the hundreds of bags that were already there. Some had the name of the original family member marked on them which would date them before the 1930's. They can have holes, sometimes patched as they did back then, and stains. This bag has BEMIS A SEAMLESS EXTRA HEAVY printed on the front and on the back is JOHNSON CO. WHITE CORN. There are blue and orange stripes the length of the bag on both sides. This bag has been sewn as once upon a time it was common to keep things working as long as possible. There are stains, the bag is old, but I personally have washed it so it is not actually dirty.
