Description: Very rare 38-inch professional ventriloquist figure made by renowned figure maker Revello Petee. He was made in the late '30s -early '40s and was a custom figure by Petee who was widely known for his "Twilight Zone" figure "Willie" and for creating figures that were high quality, multi-functional, and all hand carved from basswood. This figure is very much original and in working condition with some mild restoration. He is fully loaded with six original movements: A slot jaw moving mouth, upper lip sneer, moving glass eyes (center and left), raising eyebrows, and independent winker/blinkers. His crepe hair was replaced and styled as original. Also, his blinker and sneer leather were replaced. His raising eyebrows have new exterior brass rods that are attached to the original mechanism. He still has 98% of his original paint, and all of the interior mechanics and control post are 100% original. His original cowboy outfit has been cleaned, and his shirt was torn at the back opening from years of performing. I purchased this figure from the family of Ventriloquist / Magician "Foster King" who resided in Long Beach California. He performed for our troops at military bases, hospitals, and many events back in the day. In 1945 and 1946, this figure was repaired by Ventriloquist/ Magician George Mcgathy, and he signed the small service door in the back of the head. *Also included is an envelope dated from 1946 and addressed to Foster from the *International Brotherhood of Magicians*. It contains booklets on Ventriloquism, Magic, and Shadow puppets! Please feel free to message with any questions. $35 shipping within the U.S.
