Description: This is a collectible replica of a wanted poster for Jesse James. It announces a “$500 Reward for the Arrest and Conviction of Jesse James, St. Louis Midland Railroad.” The poster includes a picture of a young Jesse James. The outside of the envelope in which it came states that the poster is an “Authentic Replica on Antiqued Parchment. It Looks Old and Actually Feels Old!” As I recall, we obtained it as a souvenir on a trip to the Brown County region of Indiana. It has been stored in a box of miscellaneous travel memorabilia for 50 years or more. Whereas the parchment paper is designed to look old and worn, actually it is in Good Condition (close to exactly how it was when we got it). It has noticeable creases where it was folded to fit into the original souvenir envelope.This could easily be pressed and framed to hang in a child’s or teenager’s bedroom as a neat conversation piece for his or her friends. My asking price is near the low end—if not the lowest—of similar items offered online.
