Antique Round Cast Iron Heat Register/Grate Beautiful Victorian Design 2 Pc Set

Description: This is for a wonderful condition and beautiful Cast Iron Antique Victorian floor grate ( or perhaps a stove pipe register detachable cover). This grate has two pieces, the detachable center and the outer piece. This grate is marked on the back - Designed Patented, June 29, 1897. The finish is almost a grey / brown and is in wonderful condition, perhaps refinished but unsure.This item would be from the late 1890's and is substantial and weight is 5.4 lbs. The outside diameter is 15 1/2 inches. The inside rim is 13 1/8. The design on the iron is floral with leaves and scrolls through out the design. the center movable pieces is an 8 point star of leaves. This was desplayed hanging on a wall when last owned as there were wires holding all the pieces together. **All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures. Please ask questions prior to purchase if there are concerns.
