Description: This Russwin No. hand crank meat grinder is made of heavy iron and has a wood handle. The design was patented on 27 August 1901. I'm not sure if this piece is from that year but it is an antique. It was made by the Russell & Erwin Manufacturing Company of Connecticut, USA. The finish has some patina to it but there is no rust, pitting, or cracking. The handle is solid. This could probably use a cleaning before using it to do any grinding. But as is, it makes a neat piece for a vintage farmhouse decor. Assembled this is 11" long, 7" from wide, and 3" across the input bowl.
