Description: Up for sale two used, antique Colebrookdale flat Irons with detachable wooden handles. Condition is good with signs of ware on the wooden handles and rust on the metal especially on the inside. Likely made in the early 20th century. They measure approximately 6" long, 3" wide and 5" tall including the handles. Colebrookdale Iron Co. was in Pottstown, PA, and originally formed in the early 1700s, it was thought to be the oldest iron works in continuous operation in the United States at the time of its sale in 1953.As always please refer to pictures to better assess condition for yourself as they are the best true indicator of condition and serve as an integral part of the description.
