Edme Samson began his career in the 1830's in Paris and was a famous Copyist of Museum Quality items. His works have since become collectible in their own right. Stunningly executed with a Porcelaneous body and exceptional detail. Incised "69" to base. Approx 9"H X 3.5"W. Condition: Restoration to break in neck, small chip to leaf on base, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected.
