Description: Antique SARGENT Mortise Lock DOOR LATCH Mortice Deadbolt 4679 - Silver / Chrome Faceplate Inspected, tested, and lubricated. Complete and in good working order. Features reversible door latch/catch so it can be flipped if the door closes in the opposite direction. PLEASE NOTE: This is a multi-quantity listing, so you may not receive the exact item seen photographs, however, they are all in similar condition. Faceplates may be scratched or worn, and there may be some other cosmetic issues such as traces of old paint, but they have all been checked for broken parts, lubricated and are working fine. Faceplate measures precisely 5 1/2” tall and 15/16” wide. It is 3/16” thick. Screw holes are spaced 4 3/4” apart on center. Knob and lock holes are 2 1/2” from the front of the faceplate and they are spaced 2 1/4” on center from one another. The hole for the knob is 1/4” square and the knob for the thumb turn / lock is 3/16” square. Lock body is 3 1/4” deep including faceplate and 3 1/8” deep not including faceplate.
