Description: Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock with 89 AL Movement This is an antique Seth Thomas adamantine mantel clock made in the early 1900's to 1930's and has the ST initials inside of a diamond logo with the 89 AL movement. Made in the USA. Has wood grain mahogany? finish. I think the rear door may have been replaced since the sticker on the inside of the door doesn't look like it is a Seth Thomas sticker but it's not legible to know what it is from. No key. Pendulum included. There is some rust on parts of the movement so it will definitely need a good cleaning and oiling before putting in service. Also has some chips on the top back edge of the veneer finish. See pictures for details. Tested and working but can't fully test due to no key and needs to be cleaned. I don't want to break anything since these movements are becoming harder and harder to find in working condition. Pendulum swings and clock ticks but doesn't stay going for some reason. May just need to be leveled. Clock is in great condition for it's age as you can see by the pictures included. Measures approximately 8 1/2"W x 5 1/2"D x 10"H.
