Description: Terminal Station is arguably Atlanta's most historic building. It is beautifully engraved in high relief on the bowl of the spoon. Along its stem, a cotton blossom is engraved. There are also images of what look like peanuts and corn, two other major crops grown in GA, along with Georgia's state flower, the Cherokee rose, At the top of the handle, historic symbols and banners with the words Wisdom, Peace, Cooperation, Constitution, and 1700 wrap around stately columns. The state seal and the state bird, the thrasher, are also portrayed. On the back, Old Fort Hawkins, a teepee emitting smoke, and the State Capitol, are included in this beautiful piece of history. It continues to amaze me that so much history can be packed into a silver souvenir spoon.
