Description: This art glass vase is mould blown of cranberry glass and colourless decorative applied motifs. The shape of the vase has squat bulbous form with a short tapered neck. The applied rim has a pointed crown shape, and the applied footed base is scalloped shaped with an embossed seashell design. Snapped pontil. Displays beautifully with a (battery operated) tealight candle. Attributed to an English glasshouse. Circa. 1900-1920. 4-1/2" tall. The rim is 4-1/2" diameter. The base is 3-3/4" diameter. 4-3/4" wide, at best. Wooden base not included. Professional shipping is used with much care. Questions are graciously welcomed! :)
