There are five (5) holes in the handle ... am not sure how it happened ... but handle is solid with no give!The Blade is marked:"MADE MEXICO". "IN" scratched by someone between MADE & MEXICO. "T GOMEZ". The Leather Sheath is marked:"USNHC (red cross emblem) "Robert James Ellis" "1944".Believe all markings on sheath to have been by the owner.USED CONDITION: There is the normal wear to the Gomez Dagger & Leather Sheath due to storage. There is some light surface rust to the dagger. There is some soiling to the sheath. Need to be cleaned before use, if desired. Approximate Measurements: Dagger: 11" L.
