Description: Set of 2 Antique Windsor Chairs Vintage Wooden Bentwood Bow Back Country Farmhouse Rustic Decor VERY OLD - at least 19th century PLEASE MESSAGE US ABOUT SHIPPING OPTIONS Solid wood, they are sturdy with turned spindles and DOUBLE STRETCHERS ON ALL FOUR SIDES. They are not marked. Heavy for their size. They measure approximately: — 32.5” high, floor to top of backrest — 16” wide, side to side of seat — 16” front to back of seat — 17.5” seat height from floor — 16” backrest height from seat to top — 1.25” thick is the seat Sturdy, solid and all joinery is firmly connected EXCEPT for the following observations on condition: CHAIR #1: This chair has a bentwood fitting that has been repaired where it fastens to the seat on one side. It has a few chips, scuffs and marks here and there on legs, stretchers and spindles. Nothing that detracts from function or beauty. SEE PICS CHAIR #2: This chair has a back leg that has a chip near the bottom. Stretchers have expected old scuffs and a few chips. The stretchers all have evidence of old glue repair at joinery but are solid and sturdy. The seat has several very old cracks in the edges of the wood seat attributed to the wood drying over many years. It is still sturdy and solid in spite of this. SEE PICS Both chairs have rich, authentic surface patina of wear attributed to age, use and storage. Both chairs have a few minor tiny spots of white paint here and there. Could likely be removed if desired. Will leave up to buyer to decide. Not noticeable unless looking for them. Please examine photos and ask questions before you bid.
