Description: Antique Wooden Coconut Shell Tea Caddy with Hinged Lid. It has seeded feet. All the above info from a similar item recently sold on ebay.....asking price was £45. Apparently these tea caddys are over 100 years old. NB One foot has been glued back in to place (there is dry glue) and there are two cracks either side of this - see last photo. However it does now seem quite solid. Plus there is some side movement in the hinge but the lid aligns well when closed. 14cm in diameter and 16cm in height with the lid closed.
