The tabs are a complete all in one fertilizer that provide 11 essential nutrients in a slow dissolving manner that typically last 1-3 months depending on your tank and types of plants, water changes etc. I put the tablets together manually using a fish safe dissolving gelatin capsule. . The tabs make it extremely easy to feed the roots (NOT THE WATER COLUMN) I usually place one tab about every 6 square inches. Simply place the tabs deep into the substrate and wait and see the significant growth your plants will have. I have noticed significant growth with such plants as Eriocaulon, Cryptocoryne, Staurgyne Repens, and Pogostemon Helferi just to name a few. This sale includes 50 slow release tablets size "00" . I have packed the tablets in new RX bottles and also added 1 packet of silica gel to each container to preserve freshness and prevent moisture in the package. Do your plants have snails? We try not to have snails/pests but it happens, we remove any visible imperfections before shipment however to be 100% certain we suggest that you either do a 1:20 ratio bleach to water dip and/or wash the plants. Anytime you add something new to an aquarium it is important to rinse it off before adding just to be safe. Keep in mind snails are completely harmless and very beneficial to aquariums, they do not eat plants, snails are detritivores meaning they will only eat dead and decaying plant matter not living healthy plant leaves.
