It has 6 courses of 2 strings each (course 1 & 2 nylon and course 3 - 6 silver wound). The bridge is fixed with pick-up for pre-amp under it. The pre-amp has a volume knob and 4 sliding adjustments; bass, midd, treb & pres. Also has a battery light. Equalizer - EQ-7545R. Needs a 9V battery. This is an electric Arabic style Oud. There are multiple tuning options for instrument, but we recommend using the Arabic method: DGADGC.
