Description: I have loved and collected vintage and antique fine and costume jewelry and assorted items for over 50 years and have decided to downsize. All of the items listed are from my own personal collection and there are no duplicates! Listed for auction today is a fine vintage 30's era leather clutch purse that was my mothers. It is clearly marked on the chrome frame "AMCO" in a diamond and.U.S. PAT. 1952,141". and there is a material tag with "MRA" above a spread winged eagle and Manfactured Under Ladies Hand Bag Code Authority", and in red "188730". It is soft black leather with a chrome handle, measuring about 7 1/2" across the handle, 5 3/4" top to bottom & 7 1/2" across the bottom. The clasp is hinged and is chrome partially covered in leather with a snap clasp. It opens to reveal a black taffeta lining with snap coin purse and small pocket. The back had a strap clutch strap for carrying. It has certainly been used and has been in a dark bureau drawer for over 35 years! It opens and closes easily and the front snap is in good working order. The inside does show some wear, also consistant with use. This is a great Art Deco style "little black dress" purse is good condition! So please take a close look at the pictures...
