Description: Art Deco necklace from approximately the 1930's that was made in a Victorian Revival style. The oval and round motifs are filigree-look stampings with a silvertone finish and decorated with medium blue glass rhinestones. The clasp is a type of hook that snaps over the round link of the other end. The chain is a cable chain with stamped design on the links. The center motif measures about 1 3/4" across and about 2 1/2" long. Each of the round filigrees are about 3/4". The necklace measures about 16.25 inches when laid flat. Condition: The silvertone finish has some wear, but I have not tried to polish it. The necklace is sturdy and the blue glass seems original. It is rare to find a nearly 90 year old necklace in this good a condition, ready to wear and still showy.
