Dollhouse Room Box, Artisan Made, OOAK, w/ 1930s Japanese Pieces + Kokeshi Doll!

Description: A Japanese-themed room box, with some special furnishings! Please check out all the pictures and enlarge them to see detail. Measurements:Box height to top: 13"Box width: 14" Box depth: 11-1/2" The wonderful chest has multiple inlays, and as you see in that detail photo, the tambour doors open to reveal 2 drawers depicting Mt. Fuji! It's in excellent condition. The chairs, desk/table, and settee are part of a Japanese set identified in a Dian Zillner book as being from the 1920s to 1930s, and they are marked under the seats. A couple of them have prior minor glue repairs, but they are all in very good solid condition... no loose legs. I've added another Japanese inlaid table, faux windows, an original oil painting, Japanese vases, a bonsai (chipped) and a great Kokeshi "Grandma" doll! ALSO included is a wonderful hinged Japanese screen or room divider, to use as you wish! I originally planned to use it in the room, but later opted for furniture. There are photos of the box empty... So of course YOU get to design the room arrangement however you would like! **I will be making more 'themed' room boxes, most smaller, and you can contact me for custom boxes as well.
