Description: Selling my used pair of Audeze LCD-4 headphones that I have to let go of mainly due to transitioning my audiophile hobby from headphones to speakers. These are a pair of discontinued planar-magnetic flagship headphones made by Audeze using real 30-year old Macassar Ebony wood rings, retailing for $3995 USD on release. The LCD-4 has a uniquely warm sounding tonality to its sound, with a smooth & lush tune to it that also manages to be extremely technical and competent in its detail retrieval. This was something that I had thought was impossible in a headphone's tuning until I heard this one. It is also one of the few planar-magnetic headphones out there that has some real bass transient impact to it (AKA bass slam), better that just about 90% of other planar magnetic headphones out there in this department. Some minor cosmetic damages can be observed in its original earpads and outer chassis, but these do not interfere with the sound of the headphones, as they remain in perfect working order. Included with this headphone is a 5ft long balanced 4.4mm cable, an 8ft long unbalanced Audeze 6.35mm cable, two cable connector adapters (one for 4.4mm to XLR balanced & one for 4.4mm to 6.35mm unbalanced), and an Audeze padded travel case. It also includes the certificate of authenticity with the serial code 4142450 and was produced on March 24, 2016. This LCD-4 is the 200 ohm version.
