Description: This is a nice, original August 1933 issue of The Survey. The Survey began in 1909 as a successor to "Charities and Commons", continuing its volume and issue numbering. Special monthly "Graphic" issues were published beginning in 1921, and a separate Survey Graphic magazine spun off in 1933. Afterwards, some issues of The Survey itself were titled Survey Mid-Monthly. At the end of 1948, Survey Graphic re-merged with Survey Mid-Monthly, and the combined magazine published as The Survey once again from 1949 until 1952. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from January 1950 Measures 8.5" x 10.5" There is some mild surface discoloration, staples oxidized. Please study photos and Email with any question. A great addition to any collection!
