Description: This is an authorized restrike of a circa early 1950s French Commando Ouragan (Hurricane Commando) Marine Commando beret badge. The 1950s badges were made by Drago. This restrike is marked to Arthus Bertrand of Paris, and this was made in the 1970s for veterans of the group. The Commando Ouragan served in the south of Indochina from 1951 until November 1954, taking direction from the Mixed Group of Airborne Commandos, or Groupement de Commandos mixtes Aéroportés (GCMA). Measures approximately 1 3/4” in diameter. Copper plated brass. Buyer pays $3.95 for first class postage with tracking (less than actual cost).
