A Vintage Baccarat 1958-1969 “Church Weight.” Made during this time period because it has the "8" cane they only used until they started making regular numbered edition in 1970. Further, this weight also has no date or date cane anywhere on the piece. It is a colorful closepack millefiori weight made up of a wide palette of predominantly pastel hues and a variety of softer-edged complex canes including the famous “8” cane. This weight is a revisit of the classic antique 1853 “Church Weight” which was found in the cornerstone of a bombed out church in the town of Baccarat after WWII. I gave you a lot of photos including closeups of some of the fabulous canes so you can enjoy the varied complexity. Weighs 1 pound 6 ounces and is approximately 3" W X 2.3" H In great shape!
