Description: This Ball Perfect Mason Glass Jar is a vintage piece with a capacity of one pint and a beautiful aqua blue color. The jars with this specific embossing were only made from 1923 - 1933, meaning this jar is somewhere between 91 to 101 years old. The bottom is embossed #5, and shows the crude bottom of the early Owen bottling machine made jars. Also indicative of this period is the heavier glass weight, thicker side seams and high relief embossing. Other than some minor scratching consistent with wear and age, this jar is in very nice condition, clean and crystal clear with no chips, cracks or breakage. It features the Ball zinc metal lid with a milk glass insert which screws on securely. Jar measures 5.5”H with lid x 2 3/8” inner rim opening x 2 5/8” outer rim. The jar is perfect for decorating and storing small items and is a great addition to any collection of vintage and antique jars and bottles.
