Description: Here is a One Pound uncirculated Banknote from Rhodesia -- P-28-- that was issued by the Independent Rhodesian Government on October 14, 1968. Although Rhodesia had declared its Independence in late 1965, it still recognized the Queen as head of its Government. The note was printed in Rhodesia by Mardon printers, lithographed, based on a previous design engraved by Thomas DeLaRue of London that was issued in 1964.
