For example, if you purchase the extension for a machine with a 1/2" shaft size, the extension will retain that 1/2" size.There is an option for a right or left side kit. The right side uses a right hand thread and must be mounted on the right side of your machine, while the left side uses a left hand thread and must be used on the left.
