Description: Up for sale is a nice painting (probably acrylic on cardboard) by well-known artist Bill McCauley (1931-1989). It is professionally framed and measures approximately 41 x 28 inches, including the frame. The painting itself, measures approximately 38 x 25 inches. The painting is signed on the center bottom. Bill McCauley was a prolific and versatile artist working in oils, acrylics, watercolors, graphics, lithographs and vibrant silk screens. He maintained a studio in the Soho district in New York City for much of his career. Some of Bill's Lithograph works can be viewed at the Smithsonian American Art Collection Painting overall appears to be in okay condition. I see no issues with it, although it has not been examined outside of the frame/glass. The frame is an older wood frame, which has some dings and scratches. The mat portion of the frame is very stained. It is wired on the back and ready to hang. A great piece by this well known, well listed artist.
