Description: This is an authentic 1960 Blenko hand blown glass vase. Crafted by renowned glass artist Wayne Husted, this beautiful piece of artistry is #6024 from the 1960 Blenko catalog and is commonly identified by it's distinct "rocket" shape. I acquired this vase second hand a few years ago and have decided to auction it off to someone who values glass collectibles more than myself. The vase is in great condition overall; however, there are minor scratches and scuffs scattered around the exterior. They are generally hard to notice without a close inspection. The glass has a deep but vibrant purple color and is almost certainly the "Lilac" color from the 1960 color options. The Blenko signature is partially worn around the pontil but still clearly identifiable.
