Each volume contains information on a specific region's folk customs, traditions, songs, music, dances, costumes, fables, traditional beliefs, and much more. Most include one or more plates depicting the local folk dress. I have shown sample pages from one of the book's interiors, but if you would like to see the interior or ToC from a specific volume, please don't hesitate to ask. This is the most famous and most frequently-referenced series of books on Polish ethnography and a foundation of any serious library. The books are of various thicknesses and range from 150 to 800 pages each. The books are generally in good, pre-owned condition with minor signs of handling. The following six volumes have more significant wear/damages and the prices has been reduced accordingly: volumes 6 (bumped corner), 21 (bumped/torn corner), 23 (dirty back cover), 30 (creased cover), 31 (bumped back corner), and 34 (bumped corners). Most of the books have a former owner's name or institution's stamp on the first page, but no significant markings. A few of the volumes have dust jackets, but most are without dust jackets as shown in the photos. The photos are of the actual books being offered for sale.
