Some are very rare and other examples haven’t been up for sale in the past 30+ years Super rare spoon from George W Cook sometimes spelled Cooke, who is listed in the 1850 Boonville Mo census and is also listed as being in business with Robert Simpson in 1866 with the firm of Cook and Simpson Boonville Missouri. This is an earlier spoon by Cook bearing only his name and not Cook and Simpson and a much rarer version of his other marking of G W Cook Boonville. You will most likely never come across another one of these spoons.
