Description: This Boris O'Klein vintage art print is one of the "Dirty Dogs of Paris" series of humorous dog pictures. This print dates to the 1950s or 60s and comes from the Sidney Z. Lucas printing house in New York, stamped with the Paris Etching Society logo. This print "For Pete's Sake!" is number three in this series. Measures 9.75" x 13". Boris O'Klein was born in Moscow in 1893. His family emigrated to France when he was a boy. As an adult he became a well known anthropomorphic artist and cartoonist working in the streets of Paris, selling his prints to tourists between the 1930s and 1950’s. Much of his work was prints, either lithographs or engravings heightened with hand-painted touches of watercolor. This reproduction print is in very good vintage condition and appears to have never been framed. There is a small spot near the top left edge and slight yellowing to the paper edges, which a frame would cover. Please review photos. I have more O'Klein prints listed, and some that may not be listed. Please message me if you are looking for a particular title in this series. Shipping can be combined. I try to depict colors as accurately as possible but they may appear differently depending on your device or screen settings. As a used item, there may be minor wear. Any noted defects will be disclosed and pictured.
