Description: 1972 vintage Bose Series 1 speakers, equalizer, Two 16 ft Monster Cable Power Line speaker cables, and Bose 901 speaker stands. These speakers have cloth surrounds and not the foam surrounds Bose used in the Series II and newer. The cloth surrounds are in very good condition. One of the speakers has suffered some grill cloth damage from our cat. The drivers are all OK and the damage is confined to the top left of the one speakers front. The speaker cables are 1984 top of the line Monster Cable Powerline with double 8 gauge Litz wire conductors. The stands were made by Bose for the Series II and work very well on these speakers. One thing to consider is Bose 901 speakers need to be placed 18-24" from the wall with nothing very big in between them and at least a couple feet to either side so the eight rear facing speakers can project the sounds stage across the wall. The speakers are not very efficient and are best power with a power amplifier with 250 watts per channel at 8 ohms. This listing will have to ship in 4 boxes. I bought these speakers in 1972.
