Description: Important information about the Borac Clothing Factory: The Borac Confectionery Factory was founded way back in 1952, by the decree of Josip Broz Tito, the then president of the Federative People's Republic of Yugoslavia. The production facilities, which became the backbone of the development of the city of Travnik, but also of the wider region, immediately employed 500 workers, among whom the majority were women then as well as today. The expansion of production began, and Konfekcija Borac built production plants in the cities of Jajce, Gornji Vakuf, Prijedor, Lušci Palanka, Zenica and Banovići, where close to 6,000 people worked until the start of the war in 1992.
