They were then placed back into their original packaging and stored in a plastic tub for an upcoming house move. They have since remained in that storage tub in a climate-controlled finished basement. This listing is for two (2) Bowen Designs mini busts of the Marvel characters Mystique and Nightcrawler. The Mystique bust is marked as #1235 out of 3,000 pieces produced and the Nightcrawler bust is marked as #3676 out of 5,000 pieces produced. Mystique’s box has some warping on the side panel) This listing includes mini busts for the X-Man Nightcrawler and his supervillain parent Mystique. Nightcrawler, aka Kurt Wagner, is mutant possessing superhuman agility, the ability to teleport, and adhesive hands/feet. His physical mutations include indigo-colored velvety fur which allows him to become nearly invisible in shadows, two-toed feet and three-fingered hands, yellow eyes, pointed ears, and a prehensile tail. His first appearance was as part of a new team put together by Professor X for the purpose of rescuing members of the original X-Men team (Giant-Size X-Men # 1). Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme, is often portrayed as a supervillain to the X-Men. Mystique is a shapeshifter who can perfectly mimic the appearance and voice of any person. Her natural appearance includes blue skin, red hair and yellow eyes. Mystique was originally believed to be Nightcrawler’s mother but it was more recently revealed that Mystique had fathered Nightcrawler while in a shapeshifter male form.
