S. and issued by Vox Records in 2001. CONDITION: CD set is unmarked; case and inserts are very good. [Not a club issue.] 2. Brahms & Schumann Trios (Israel Piano Trio) 2 CDs Piano Trio #1 in B, Op. 8 Piano Trio #2 in C, Op. 87 Piano Trio #3 in c, Op. 101 Piano Trio #1 in d, Op. 63 (Schumann) It was made in the U. S. A. and issued by Musical Heritage Society Records in 1986. CONDITION: One CD is unmarked, and the other is still in factory shrink-wrap; case and inserts are very good, but one booklet is slightly warped. [MHS issue.] See RE Club CDs below. (Obviously applies to Musical Heritage disks.) 3. Schubert Quintet in C, D. 956 (Lindsay String Quartet) It was made in the U. S. and issued by Sound & Vision / MHS Records in 1988 or later. Brahms Piano Concerto #1 in d, Op. 15 Two Songs for Alto with Viola & Piano, Op. 91 Stephen Kovacevich (p) & Wolfgang Sawallisch – London Phil. / Anne Murray (cn) & Nobuko Imai (va) It was made in the U. S. and issued by EMI Classics / BMG Records in 1992 or later. CONDITION: CD is still in factory shrink-wrap. [BMG record club issue.] See RE Club CDs below. (Club LPs were another story and apparently account for the prejudice.) Obviously to a collector, differences in packaging, liner notes and such counts against them but a listener should find no difference in quality between a club CD and a commercial CD.
