No external ferrite cores are necessary since our AC Adapters have the ferrite core manufactured into the cord. For those unfamiliar with all of this, a ferrite core is actually ferrite that is wrapped around a cable to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). On our AC adapters, the core is manufactured into the unit so all you see is a fattened section of the cord (the cord looks like a snake that just ate a whole mouse). On older equipment and, unfortunately, cheaper equipment made these days, the ferrite core is not manufactured into the product, so the seller or user has to add it. May also be used in the Laser 128 and other clones!
