Description: Art Deco Brass English Bathroom / Toilet Lock. Recently restored and is ready to fit. The lock has been chemically cleaned, steralised, overhauled and polished. The lock works perfectly however it does show some wear to the brass in some places. Some dealers would call this patina and charge more as it takes decades to acheive this finish! To some people this patina is perfect, however to me it's less than perfect so this item is offered at a lower than normal price usually asked for these locks. The original worn vacant engaged disc has been replaced with a modern replacement but still retains its original brass keep. Apart from the perspex vacant engaged disc the rest of the lock is steel / solid brass. A rare opportunity to purchase an Art Deco vintage brass bathroom lock. Suitable for right handed or left handed opening doors. Locks of this type are becoming harder to source and can only appreciate in value. Comes complete with brass fixing screws.
