As part of an acoustic guitar bridge installation, the pin holes need to be located, drilled and saw-slotted for string access. Our 7" Saw is a handy, effective tool to allow you to accurately slot those holes. Cuts fast, cuts clean The Slot saw utilizes a great-looking knurled aluminum Excel handle and a specially serrated keyhole style steel blade. Blade thickness is perfect for unwound (thinner) strings. To slot for wound (thicker) strings, simply "wobble" the blade a little as you saw and widen the slot appropriately. A little practice and you'll be a pro. The serrations are 2" long for a healthy cutting stroke. Low profile blade for easy access into the pin hole.
