Description: British Hand Painted Pink Floral Cobalt & Gold 7 3/4 Inch Jug Circa 1820-1830s Nice antique British bone china jug. Decorated with hand painted pink flowers with green, red, and cobalt leaves with gold highlights. Cobalt bands with gold diamonds and cobalt along the neck with gold acanthus leaf & scrollwork. Unmarked. Possibly Hicks, Meigh & Johnson. Circa 1822 to 1835. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 1/2 inches wide from spout to handle x 7 3/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. EW
