Description: Up for sale, a Bryston BP-17 (non phono and non cubed) preamplifier. I'm the second owner of this preamp, the original owner had this pre, a 4BSST and Magnepan 1.6 speakers. I am keeping the amp around for spare duty (and didn't get the speakers). This is the 17 inch faceplate version. I've been using this preamp for about a year but I recently lucked into an interesting preamp I'm going to replace it with. I don't have anything negative to say about this unit and it has always operated properly. If you can feed it a good signal and your amp has the chops, this will produce uncolored and clear music. The remote is nice and is a heavy substantial metal unit. Cosmetics are generally good here but there is one scuff/rub right above the T in Bryston on the top of the face. I expect you could dab it with a sharpie and make it nearly invisible. It never bothered me enough to worry about. This listing includes the preamp and remote, sorry I do not have the original box or paperwork. I'll find a generic power cord to include, I was using it with a Cardas cable with is not going to be included. US bidders/buyers only please. This will ship tracked and insured.
