Description: This Burley & Winter pitcher set with two matching mugs features a charming sea captain and windmill design, made of stoneware with a salt glaze finish. The set was produced using a pottery technique in Crooksville, Ohio, in the early 1900s. The backstamp is impressed and the set is an original, not a reproduction. The set is perfect for display or use as decorative dinnerware. Pitcher and 2 mugs are in very good condition, no cracks. One very small chip on the Captain's pipe. Other light-colored marks are not chips, they are spots of missing glaze.
