Description: This Micromanipulator (The MM Microscope Co., Inc.) model MW30 Bright-Field Intensity Microscope looks to be in good cosmetic condition, showing some minor signs of wear. It features a Bausch & Lomb StereoZoom 7 Microscope (1X-7X) with a pair of 10X W.F. Eyepieces, as shown. The system powers up, and all four illuminators (Transmitted Dark-Field, Incident Dark-Field, Transmitted Bright-Field and Incident Bright-Field) light up, and respond to their respective controls (the DF lights turn on and off, and the BF lights turn on and off, and respond to their intensity adjustment dials). The positioning track underneath the microscope for focusing has become brittle, and many of the teeth have broken off (see last photo), so this will need replacement. I examined some objects under the microscope using each of the four illuminators, and all of the images were clear, and the zoom functions worked just fine. When we first got it, I was able to focus by raising and lowering the stage, but now that the track is brittle, the adjustment dial just breaks teeth or becomes disengaged.
