Description: DESCRIPTION – Very nice display example of this camera. Has Autographic back and stylus. Aluminum bodied camera manufactured by the Eastman Kodak company from 1923 to 1931. Apparently covered with goat leather. Designed for twelve exposures, 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches on No. 116 roll film. Because of the design of this camera, the faceplate which rested against the front bed when closed typically has wear. Sold for display purposes To enhance sales, Eastman Kodak produced colored versions of a number of the folding cameras in the 1920s and 1930s. The new colorful stylish appearance was an attempt to attract women into the market.
