Frame is constructed from salvaged old wooden clap boards by an Amish carpenter, from a PA home. The frame measures 26 x 26" - slate surface area measures 14.75 x 14.75". The frame/salvaged wood has old flaking, chippy white paint tone. This is a chalkboard - ORIGINAL SLATE. This piece has years of use - old blemishes - a good cleaning will shine this right up.
