Description: Vintage Dutch Second standard (.835) silver two-handled oval form serving tray. It has a finely crafted pierce-work border on a wooden base with a burl wood veneer. The border features foliate scroll motifs. The date mark is for 1931 and was made by the Amsterdam firm, AMSTERDAMS KEUR C.V. The tray is 12" long, 9" wide, and 1-1/2” tall. The great original condition with clear, crisp detail, there are no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive piece. The veneer on the underside of the tray does have a split in it, as can be seen in the last photo, but this is in only a surface issue, not effecting the integrity or functionality of the tray.
