Description: C7089U1006 - Honeywell Outdoor Temperature Sensor for Thermostats TH8000/TH7000 This is a Brand New Honeywell outdoor wired temperature sensor for TH800 & TH7000 series thermostats. The sensor is in perfect condition but differs from a factory boxes sensor in two ways. 1.) This sensor does not come with a new mounting clip2.) This sensor has SHORTENED lead wires. These sensors typically come with 60" lead wires, but this sensor will have 10-12" leads. Function: A thermostat sensor senses the outdoor air temperature and relays this information to the thermostat. The thermostat will then use this information to determine which heating options to activate.
