Description: Original Lionel Postwar 3472 Operating Automatic Refrigerated Milk Car set from 1950. Overall, like new, with 7 magnetic milk cans, stand and original boxes with insert. Staple end trucks, magnetic couplers, black heat stamped lettering, plastic doors, unpainted cream white plastic body, brake wheel, rubberized man and four metal frame steps. Only deficiency noted is one bottom retention clip was soldered. The 3472 box is structurally sound with all flaps, has great color and is good condition for its age. Shows normal aging and handling wear. Shortcomings noted are 5 clear tape repairs holding the edge seam. The 3462-70 milk can box also has great color, has all its flaps and is structurally sound. Only shortcoming noted is a puncture hole in the middle of one side panel (see images). A great addition to your working Lionel postwar collection.
