Description: For sale, a NICE, UNCLEANED PATINA STRONG DETAILS, SCARCE & BELIEVE OLD MERCHANT (GOES BACK TO 1900S) old "good for" style trade token which actually is "(GOOD FOR) blank " at a business called "VERONA CANNING CO NO. 5 (BELIEVE OLD CANNERY)", which was located in historic tiny town of VERONA, MISSOURINICE OLD TRADE TOKEN WHICH ORIGINAL OWNER ATTRIBUTED TO AN OLD CANNERY LOCATED IN VERONA MISSOUR....THIS TINY TOWN GOES BACK TO 1857 AND TODAY HAS POPULATION OF 600 LOCATED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY MISSOURI NEAR TOWNS OF WENTWORTH OR PLEASANT RIDGE MISSOURI.This is a neat old token, and believe a tough to find merchant variety. Came out of a collection of Missouri tokens bought over 20 years ago as a collection….I do not own any Missouri token catalogs to give additional information.....watch for future listings. Trade token is aluminum metal, round, about 20mm in diameter ,and it displays very nicely. (please see pictures in gallery) a great looking specimen. Has not been cleaned, natural patina....uniface token as made. I got a couple of these tokens in with a collection, so will sell on eBay until gone.
