Description: Preowned Carhartt J97 Detroit Jacket Mens Medium/Regular (see measurements below) Tincloth/Wax Dressing applied probably close to three years since I did this jacket it's probably close to 17 years old purchased new. The jacket does show wear around the bottoms of both cuffs and the inside collar has started to fray and should be repaired with a new piece of canvas or possibly corduroy leaving that up for the new owner to decide. A pretty easy fix for both areas here is a tip if repairing yourself before sewing the new material to the collar probably be good idea to wash the fabric in hot water and dry on high heat to shrink it prior to being sew in place. Do not machine wash HAND WASH ONLY with water and a brush then line dry in the sun. do not use soap or detergent or the waterproofing wax dressing will have to be reapplied.
