Artist's Biography: Carol Fischer, painter, born Romania, Immigrated to Israel in 1962 . Lives and works in Holon, Israel.Education Plastic arts, Cluj, Romania.Fischer draws Israeli landscape using various painting techniques, which include sketching, watercolors and oil paints. Karol Fischer is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Cluj. He immigrated to Israel in 1962 and lived at the time in Ofakim in the Negev. At that time, he often drew drawings in black and white and watercolors, while at the same time he was teaching painting in schools. In 1964 he left teaching and began working as a graphic artist in a private advertising company. Over the years he has participated in many solo and group exhibitions, including: an exhibition with Negev artists in Be'er Sheva, exhibitions within the Associations of Artists and Sculptors in Tel Aviv and Holon, solo exhibitions at Damian Gallery in Tel Aviv and Beit Yad Labanim in Holon and more.
